Editing an Event

New Event

When you click on the 'New Event' button at the bottom of the events screen, something similar to the following screen will appear:

As you can see, you can enter the title, description and location in each language used on your website. In this example English, Welsh and Danish are used.

Editing an Event

When you click on 'Edit' or 'Copy' on the drop-down list on the events screen, a screen similar to the above will appear, but with details of the event.

Organizer

Choose the organizer from the drop-down list. Every event must have an organizer. To add a new organizer, or edit an exisiting organizer, see the Event Organizer screen.

Key Words

You can add key words (comma separated) to differentiate between events, for example 'meeting', 'event', 'show', 'trip'.

Date

Choose the date of the event on the 'pop-up' calendar window. You can change the month by clicking on the small arrows at the top of the window.

Click on the date you want to confirm.

Time

The start time of the event is shown on a 24-hour digital clock. Use the small arrows to choose the time to within five minutes.

Title

Free format text. This will be displayed as emphasized text on the web-page calendar, so keep this succinct.

If you leave this entry blank in any language, then the event will not appear on the web-page calendars for that language.

Description

Free fromat text. You can expand on the title by giving more information, e.g. entry fee, content of the event, finishing time etc..

Location

Where the event takes place, or where you should meet. This is free-format text.
